database report – finished (beta)

4 days of hard effort… finally i finished my database report.. containing 13 pages.. omg.. so tired sia.. i’ll fix the excel tomorrow, sigh.. today i went to one of the kopitiam in fajar shopping centre, and guess what? all closed.. shit! only McD opened, I fed up with McD man!! then i head to greenridge shopping centre to grab some food, some of the stalls are open, yah.. at least I can buy something to EAT during Chinese New Year.. gong bao ji ding fan! $4.50… still hungry.. then I also bought chicken burger for $2, after that I went to 7-11 to stock up my food and snacks.. huahahahah… sigh.. so sad.. my relatives and fams eating good food by now.. hik..hikz..

Finishing touch!

Recently I made quite a lot of progress in completing my database project, but 1 thing I keep worried about, the size of its program. Apparently I added some graphs and pictures to my forms, although I tried to minimize its size as low as 4kb per pic, but.. the growth of database size is even larger.. 1kb of pic size added to database will add up to 2mb database size.. hmm.. confusing yes?

No worries at all, at least I finished my practical thing, and now my job is to make a nice presentation report… well, all thanks to the access book and templates provided by Microsoft.. after 2 weeks of research.. finally I made something.. lol

Ok it has been quite some tiems.. i hardly raid anymore since I don’t have spare time.. completing my prjct and also studying here and there..

My beloved guild, Garuda, experiencing a downfall lately, since Jimi and also problematic treeman with Hxooz, tenderizer, and also verlyn.. sigh… our guild now even can’t get the BWL’s vaelastraz down.. debobo, obasan’s moral also affected because inner guild’s drama.. so many dramas occurring between guildies.. and it’s even worst because our guild got no people wants to be a master.. sigh.. dilemma….

Time to revise my studies… I’ll soon update my blogs with academic theories and essays.. haha. Btw today i attend corporate finance sbject, and meet this girl named lulu.. then I find out she attend today’s workshop about writing skills, and got a certificate from sim.. that’s nice though.. I think I’ll start observing student portal’s workshop events.. damn..

Cf day!

Today i stayed at school until about 21:00pm, discussing derivatives subject with Raggaf, my mixed indo and indian race friend. revised all forward, future contract, put call parity, including how to derive it, how in fact it’s actually similar with present value / future value calculation methods.. this morning there’s a bwl raid going, we’ve progressed until vaelaztraz, we wiped several times though, people kept making mistakes again and again.. there’s bunch of new comers with unappropriate gears also, we can’t blame them since some seniours apparently went back to indo, else bored with this game anymore. it’s our goal to kill Nefarian by this week..

when i’m loggin off the game, i feel like abandoning 39 people in the raid.. so sad but, i really need to attend this class for my own sake lol.. fortunately i’m late for about 30mins, and the lecture is talking abit slowly bout tutorials on derivatives.. until now i still have a blur image what’s going on put and call options.. previously i was mistaken, assuming long is sell and short is buy, but in fact it’s the other way around.. wtf these people are retard.. why don’t they just make it more simple … It’s 3am now, i must to get up early tml about 10, proceeding our progression on Bwl of course.. today i made a quite serious and correct decision btw.. my temptation for gaming and continuing the raid was absolutely overwhelmed by the willingness power of study haha….. at the bus stop, i sense a bit regretting this good decision though.. haha.. =.=

头要爆了…

Today I received the whole package of car rental business template that my brother promised me before, after looked thoroughly I think I have a rough idea what should I do for my database programming. But I think I need more exercise on entity relationship model. Identifying the primary key, field, definition etc.. damn…

I’ll hope I’ll come up with a useful practical database, as the business also burgeoning, I find it’s the time to change from manually represented to automation. I helped my mom doing this before, entering the same data here and there, doing repetitive job that I’ve experiencing a difficult time because I was quite impatient that time.

I’m also thinking, it’s better to consult with my mom, what she wants, and what she’s expecting in future development. Change is a must. Maybe my mom can’t adapt to this computerized database model, but I’ll try to make a easily accessible user interface, and yet, this hasn’t taught by the lesson yet because I haven’t touched Visual Basic before.. sooner or later I’ll learn it myself.

Recently I’m also downloading some free templates from Microsoft website. Their templates are just excellent. But if I want to adopt their templates, I’m also required to do some manipulating and also adaptation to my needs.

Yesterday was a pain.. I’m confused to do this and that, several web guided Access tutorials also made me sick.. pain in ass lol.. a lot of things must to do instead of gaming, I can’t resist this world of warcraft thing.. Sometimes I feel terribly bored with the game already; in fact I’m already on so called “end-game” phase.. I just need to explore more black wing lair, zulgurub, get to know the new instance Ahn Quiraj, and get rid of Molten core raiding.. that’s it…

Weeks to come.. our mock exam is quite near, and yet I haven’t prepared at all… I need to do some revision IMHO.. the painful way doing it .. is not going back home before late night.. I can’t concentrate well when there’s an online computer besides me.. Numerous temptations it has! Ah yes!, just now I head to McD just to sit tight on my butt and study. The result wasn’t bad; I revised all NPV tutorials, do some calculations, and also memorizing all the FST steps..
I wish I’ve not addicted to gaming at all.. Who knows that I’ll be a top scholar since I used all my time studying? Hahaha.. Gaming, on my point of view, is some sort of a hobby .. I started gaming since primary school … Mostly playing Nintendo, but I’m not interested to arcade game that much, and when my parents bought my bro PC… I think It’s the starting point of my journey in gaming world.. the first game I enjoyed playing was Star Craft II, Blue Byte’s Settler, and so forth… the game Star Craft was introduced by my secondary school friend, Alfred, he said this game wasn’t bad at all, and you can actually use modem to challenge another player.

When I went to Taiwan to continue my studies, I’m also influenced by schoolmates that also enjoyed playing games. Counter strike, AOE III, Diablo, and many others. if someone asked me, “Did you regret that you’ve been playing so much and yet receive nothing as a result?” I would say half – half.. I’m not saying that I regretted being such a hard core gamer, instead I’m also having a real good time with my colleagues.. Gaming is such a way that makes you communicate with other people. When we started to talk or discussing about a certain game, I suppose It’ll never say an ending of it.. and I think everyone has its unique and also unforgettable experience about his / her friend.

Congrats, I’ve just wasted 20mins writing this bull shit..

Database example revealed

This morning i received the whole template data about my brother’s car rental business, and after i saw the whole thing thoroughly, i think i had a little thought in mind at the moment, trying to figure up the relationship model of this raw data, make a temporary query and also a report.. in fact, i’ll try to make use of my study to help my brother, as its business also burgeoning, and i see the importance of a detailed data that needs to be carefully placed inside the database. the manual input also make this job boring and tiresome, i tried to help my mom before, filling up this filling up that, about 6 months ago i tried to draw up the conclusion that we’re actually doing a repetitive job that should be done by automation of a computer.

this is the perfect time and yet i have little time to make a wonderful database and also the study report.. btw i’m also limited by the usage of its macro, i never learned using visual basic before.. so.. i guess i’ll try my best 🙂
