I attended my colleague’s wedding ceremony and I really feel as if I’ve joined the big time, sat amongst bosses and almost able to rub their shoulders.. hahah.. well it’s kinda awkward arrangement imho and since the table wasn’t really a full house, less topic was conversed at that point of time and i let my mouth busy by eating lots of great food!! 🙂

Apparently i’ll need to postpone my new Core i7 purchase until i come back from my Jan block leave, perhaps mid february the prices will start to go down and i’ll be able to get a mid-high end rig with current mid range budget..

回家嘍!!!

哇靠.. 這時候我已經等好久喔… 買那麼便宜的機票才不到五十塊新幣而已.. 本來還更加便宜.. 因為我打算帶點東西回來新加坡所以我補行李差不多二十塊左右.. 還有用信用卡的手續費再加上十二塊總共加起來五十三塊.. 不錯..

回加要幹嘛呢? 相親囉… 還能幹嘛呢? 看我外甥, 跟朋友相聚等之類…

阿凡達 三 D…

人家的結婚典禮, 竟然已經答應了他可以參加, 到時候真的非來不可啊… 紅包的事啊, 要給多寡看我個人跟他熟不熟.. 如今咱們是個鄰居 (他坐位離我很近), 就必要給多點囉.. 本來想存點錢買新的一台電腦, 就到時候再看吧.. 這幾天花錢實在是太兇猛了..我這個月的錢方面的預算已經非常了… 而現在筆電如果能把它賣掉的話就值了..

明天我和同事們要看阿凡達(Avatar) 三D的.. (lol so friggin hilarious.. i actually typed a fan da, san D).. well it’s a direct translation so.. not much comment on this pls.. 聽說這部電影是史上預算最高的電影呢.. 非在電影院看不可…

搬家喽!!!

不知多少次聽朋友感嘆遷居之苦, 我只同情地笑笑,  現在我體會到真正的感受.. 真麻煩.. 我来新加坡多年只搬过幾次而已.. 這幾天讓我忙得不得了著找新的房間… 最終今天我簽好了合約租一個小房間位於地鐵站附近.. 也不算近啦.. 走路也需要十幾分鐘吧?

我聽我現在的房東講是最好十五號搬, 不能早退.. 試著跟她商量一月一號搬她也是說不行..哼..害我上禮拜到現在忙著貼貼子.. 獅城論壇裡面的那些人也是tmd 沒出息.. 本來我看好了隔天已經快要放訂金給某某人, 結果她找藉口要直接租兩間房間給兩家人..

如今我已找到了房間好似可以鬆了一口氣了.. 我已跟新房東講我媽會偶爾來新加坡玩, 大該一年來一兩次這樣, 她就點頭並微著笑道: 不用緊, 媽關心孩子我能體諒的, 只要先前通知我即可..然後我就給她一個月的訂金, 然後半個月的額外錢的也都給中介..

一個月四百七十五元, 包冷氣水電, 可惜她沒有網線.. 所以看來我就要申請一個囉… 錢.. 有錢甚麼都能辦得到的..

Shouldn’t I

My tablet pc has broke its record for running consecutively for 2weeks.. Minor reboot occurs I between though (annoying ms. patch) but still.. It’s a record eh… Btw what I hated most is the heatsink and the direction on which the fan releases heat.. It’s right at the mouse position so it’s kinda uncomfy sometimes..

I was thinking on going back indo, take a break a lil while for at least 2 weeks? Have a good catchup with my relatives and so on.. I’m planning around mid feb till early april, coincide with CNY.. Either I go back or perhaps my uncle has other plan.. but idk I hope my uncle wanted to do otherwise.. That’s what I heard frm dad saying that he’s planning to go back china to search for “clues”.. I’ve never been there though.. Was thinking perhaps this is a good opportunity to take a look at my ancestral places..

Idk mixed plans I also wanted to get some money to buy a new system but what happens if I shifted my current place? Sooo much trouble imho..

PC Wishlist~~

I always wanted to have a new PC.. hmmm.. a gaming one especially.. and here’s my wishlist… sounds modest in terms of price and weeeeee!!!!

i’ll need to dig 1.7k for this (based on today’s price list given by fuwell.. so.. perhaps i’ll wait another month and see what happens..

Today i’ve learned a lot.. learned not only Sharepoint 2007, but also the perks that come out with NT 2003 package including IIS administration, server clustering, domain controller, active directory etc..

These may sound familiar to me but I always never had a chance to really hands on experience in my line of work.. Today’s session were using 2003 windows server image provide by the training provider… After tinkering for a while I decided to get my hands on deeper.. So I intend to copy the os image but can’t find 10Gb thumdrive soo..

Prolly i’ll wait till tmr.. use my iPod imo! lol.. I’ll remove whatever songs inside and i’ll format the storage so that it’s a full data inside.. but after i that i realised it’s only friggin 1GB.. and uh.. I tried establishing ftp but can’t manage to bypass the forwarding port.. the server port forwarding connection simply can’t get through.. coz i got no access to their router mah..  and I even trieed to search for solution online but in the end I gave up..lol. Actually I wanted to break them apart to several .rars but.. So troublesome..

Windows 7 Upgrade – BSOD!

I’ve burned my entire weekend to check on the compability & features of Windows 7.. and apparently i’m quite satisfied on the upgrades except one particular thing.. the Show Desktop now is on below right hand corner there.. made my reflex abit awkward when i wanted to show desktop etc.. although i’ve always reminded myself of using a keyboard shortcut Win+D, but still… clicking is kinda.. habit..

Well.. the installation took about 3hrs i think.. (i was upgrading my home premium to windows 7 Ultimate..) when i checked on the compatibility, most of the softwares are already so called compatible but i’m still worried soo.. i’ve backed up my entire hdd..

At first PerfectDisk bugged me for quite soemtime when the installation refuses to proceed although i’ve uninstalled PerfectDisk.. apparently the uninstallation process isn’t clean enough.. so i deleted theregistry and followed the guide which is available at their website.

Secondly.. i encountered BSOD during the installation which made me feel WTF!?! … luckily Microsoft is smart enough to perform roll back or else…. it turned out that some drivers are incompatible, so i had to remove my all USBs connecting, including my mouse, USB hub, external hdd, sd card and the most important thing that made BSOD i think is the digitalpersona (i’m using laptop with finger vein) .. so after i updated to the latest version, i redo the entire upgrade installation so.. it takes another 3hrs so i went to sleep..
