Due Diligence vs Due Care

Due diligence is performing reasonable examination and research before committing to a course of action. Basically, “look before you leap.” In law, you would perform due diligence by researching the terms of a contract before signing it. The opposite of due diligence might be “haphazard” or “not doing your homework.”

Due care is performing the ongoing maintenance necessary to keep something in proper working order, or to abide by what is commonly expected in a situation. This is especially important if the due care situation exists because of a contract, regulation, or law. The opposite of due care is “negligence.”

His speech started off with the amounting pressure of conducting business; stricter competitions with more and more guidelines introduced by the regulators due to the recent downturn in U.S which indirectly implicate the aggregate amount of compliance cost to fulfil.

He further realised that there’s no such thing as one cure for all; “silver bullet” and further commented that although the future outlook might be grim, he believes that O&T remains the sparkling radiant of the theme “infinite possibilities” throughout, demonstrated with strong achievements of quality projects and innovations driven by various teams with support and commitment from senior management, culminated in the road show event today..

Bintan Trip – 28 Nov to 01 Dec

我正在坐在海邊，望著不停的波浪一直朝向著岸讓我心會覺得靜了下來。閉上眼睛，耳朵能聽到一波波的浪，誰都能放下所有工作的困惑與擔憂。

在這兒已玩了四天三夜，我聽人家說這兒引用水缺乏，所以未達港口時衝忙著購買。結果呢公司提供的渡假勝的房子設備齊全。

水壺鍋子連湯匙筷子都有。到了地點我就先登入，安排了一架四輪胎摩托送我到房子。

看電視便等了一個鐘朋友們就來了。每個人都有帶貢獻品給大家。我帶巧克力，麥路和水。有人帶米，麵，肉，甜醬，超凡料理等，其他譬如雞蛋，菜，就在便利商店買。 晚餐就這樣煮飯和牛肉，煎個雞蛋和炒個菜吃了。 吃完在海邊玩，用了手電筒，手機的閃光燈寫個字，甚至於拍個短片祝福給朋友生日快樂呢！

第二天早上吃泡麵，九點多時租一輛車陪咱們逛去城市，靠近城市那兒有一個小島。小島裡有伊斯蘭教徒的類似於教堂。咱們就過去那兒陪我朋友禱告。繞一圈小島，咱們就買6K印尼盾的船票去大城市吃午餐。吃完午餐，咱們就去子朝城。

子朝城乃華裔倡導暨新加坡，印尼中國，泰國，馬來西亞等各界社會賢達志士挺身貢獻。 建其之感悟為千萬英勇勞動人民，致力建城（萬里長城）而捐軀成為一代英烈，其拼搏精神留為世間傳承相繼永遠銘記不忘。

拍完了就去一趟全島廣大的廟, 幹嘛呢? 也不離拍照這件事啦.. 天黑了咱們就往城市方向走一趟, 嘗嘗清湯喝, 買粒榴槤然後回家. 

第三天司機帶我們去Trikora海邊去玩, 午餐時咱們就吃司機推薦的地方, 義大利披薩, 聽說他一家人在民丹岛已居留很久呢. 連印尼話都會講.. 哈哈…

賣的披薩還可以啦.. 價錢也蠻划算, 飲料也很好喝.. 吃完咱們就回去渡假勝地的高爾夫球場拍照. 拍完了回去房子, 下午時去海邊玩水ㄚ.. 晚上回去炒個飯, 煎個蛋吃, 傳輸照片等有的沒的… 累了過後睡得很香甜..

隔天大家都依依不捨地離開..  四天三夜的遨遊就這樣搞一個段落.
