Seisha!!!!!

I’ve been rough these days to everyone…, maybe it’s because hard pressure on unending daily activities, routine and yet dully boring… I told one of my accountant friend that I’m quitting this job on early sept, and yet I haven’t tell my supervisor about this.. He’ll pissed to hear.. I’m sure of that..

Well, it’s been such a pleasure working with my boss.. he’s a very nice guy though.. however i felt sorry for him since he got a lot of business obstacle.. his trustful importer partner kept postponing and didn’t show any serious respond towards him…进退两难, negotiating about office rent has been a tough and yet application about NPT, hasn’t done since last year.. geez.. to proceed with this kind of partner is absolute waste of resource.. sighs, btw I’m going to resign soon so.. i’ll say this tomorrow (if I have courage and find out whether he’s on good / bad mood), it’s better to tell it sooner instead of later though.. so I’ll recommend him to put advertisement to find a better, more competent person than me.. I’m sure that he’ll have a hard time to adapt… me myself think that if I proceed working on this company, I’ll sure have a good prospect ahead.. it’s a tough decision for resigning this job anyway..

So I’ll share my job experience as a “marketing specialist assistant”. The scope of my work is incredibly unlimited, as long as my boss is on duty, he’ll told me to make lots of business proposal, letter of intent, replies, etc. I think that’s pretty interesting since I have fruitful experience on translating things, mandarin, English to indos, vice versa… and what pissed me off is to make a correction which I assume is hella lot worse than mine. Hey he added some stupid mistakes instead of fixing one yoo? …. One of my colleagues told me that in so called “one-man show” business there are only 2 rules you must to obey; one is to not argue with your boss, and rule number two is to repeat the rule number one. Hahaa….

However, it’s not an unusual thing that subordinate talk shit behind about his own supervisor though.. hey, come on, it’s a common secret to everyone!! Well, we have to face it once or we’ll lose our job right? Hehe.. and uh.. my boss loves to treat us lunch.. usually he will give the OB (office boy) money and asks us for something to eat later on.. well, I do refuse it almost everyday since me myself got a home-made lunch.. hahaha.. everyone laughed to hear that and uhhh.. it’s such a disgrace.. : /

So.. most of the time he told to summarize the procedure of applying things, search what’s going on this and that while he browse around finding business opportunities.. when he has gotten one, he’ll tell me to lobby and update the business intent.. so far includes importing large amount of lubricants, handphones, cargoes, expedition, exporting sea cucumbers, proposing a TV workstation, etc etc … well another great experience I’ve achieved is to calculate personal taxation and/or company taxes (pph23,26,4(2)etc) according to recent laws, government rules, etc… and also accounting procedure, making BOC, and such…

Holiday… It has been such a great time and yet it’s over soon… yesterday I went directly from my office to muara karang, fetched iin and nongbe and after that we ate at the newly opened Malaysian style restaurant. Generally speaking, the food taste is average. Nothing special and it didn’t worth to mention about, and yet it’s a bit expensive.. so.. we move on to our next destination, flubber, we ordered seisha and some drinks. The place is nice, the menus are considered affordably cheap, and what else.. umm.. yaa!! Sieiseha! How to spell I don’t really remember, it was great, and I took a few pics smokin’ it. Yay!

addicted – solution

RW: A lot of comparisons have been made between video game addiction and gambling addiction. Are the two similar?

Dr. Orzack: They are pretty much the same. They have many of the same symptoms: neglecting work and severing personal relationships, for example. People get the same type of excitement from gambling and playing video games. It’s called variable ratio reinforcement, — which basically means that you keep playing or gambling and failing until you reach your intended goal, but once you reach that goal, you still keep playing.

RW: Give me an example of a typical case.

Dr. Orzack: I was talking with a patient, a young man, the other day. He was a heavy World of Warcraft player, and I asked him what happens when he plays the game: was he simply playing a virtual character or did he feel like he was actually in the game? He told me when he plays, he is in the game completely. He had become immersed in World of Warcraft and had trouble removing himself from that virtual world. I also asked what he expected to find each time he turned on the game, and his answer was a sense of belonging. This individual came from a family that was unfortunately breaking up, and World of Warcraft was his way to escape that. This 18-year-old individual was miserable. He didn’t get along with any of his family members and kept withdrawing into the game.

RW: So what’s the solution?

Dr. Orzack: For patients, there has to be a readiness to change. Without that, there’s really no point. I think another important factor is awareness – more people are beginning to accept that this is a real problem.

Garuda – R.I.P

Garuda was formed and have been on Tichondrius since March 3, 2005, succeeding Indo Warriors which was formed almost since release. It was initially a guild for friends to have fun with, but with the leadership of Leonard soon evolved into a raiding guild. Since then the list of members have grown, and progress was made. Soon Ragnaros was killed, and by far the best showing of Garuda’s potential was indeed server top 5 kill of Chromaggus, done in November.

Nefarian was thought to come soon, but alas it was not to be. Garuda stagnated, some members left the game, and things looked bad. However a new GM emerged in form of Notious, the newer generation of members were then ready for end game contents, and the guild was soon back in business, killing Nefarian in February. AQ40 was next and through perseverence Garuda finally killed the Twin Emperors, a feat not many guilds can do at the time. Alas, summer came, and with the departure of many members from the games, the guild stagnated again. Additionally, with the development of new content, the guild, which really is a combination of hard core and casual players, is getting strained on raids. This stagnation continued, and as more members got frustrated, more left the game or moved on to a new server, or to a new guild. Unlike the phoenix that had risen from the ashes earlier this year, this was pretty much the end of the journey for Garuda. As they say, “all good things must come to an end”, and this is indeed the end of the road for Garuda as a guild. However, this is not the end of the journey for the former members of Garuda. Indeed, whether you are leaving the game or moving in the game, a new journey lies ahead. The experience gained while in Garuda should not be underestimated; although a game, it has many relations to real life experience, and is precious and very real. On this note, whatever your choice is, good luck to you, may the experience you learned in Garuda be beneficial and may it be a fruitful journey.

Personally, Garuda has been a blast for me. It had been the best ever guild I can ever have for my WOW experience. Though sometimes lacking in progression, it was fun, vent was hillarious, guild chat was great and the spices of drama enhances it all. While it lasted, I enjoyed the times I was in the guild. Many members share this experience, and indeed the memories of Garuda will be kept as something precious for all of us down the years. Garuda was not a perfect guild, in fact it had many shortfalls and flaws from DKP, loot distribution to guild bank in its guild model. At times, members relations wasn’t ideal as well. Yet despite all of this the guild has perservered over a year, which is forever in WOW terms, and a feat not many guilds in WOW can achieve. And thus, with a credit honouring past prominent members of Garuda, I end my tribute to Garuda, a great guild that achieved more than anyone could have expected. Its journey ends today, but its memories and spirits will be carried on through its members.

Thank you Garuda.

禍中定有福

6th of August 2006 :: A lot of things happen this week, recently I just got myself into a small problem.. a motorcycle accident, yep it’s common and uh… that accident just happened too fast, I wasn’t able to even recall it back how the hell that happen… the last thing I noticed is a stupid blue kijang that came all of a sudden in front of me wanting to enter a parking lot, maybe it was my own fault that I used the front wheel break not the back wheel ones. So I slipped away and 2seconds later I was on the ground consciously speaking “F**K I just got 0wned J00!!! Lol..” yep.. my vehicle was severely damaged, which cost my bro 500thousand alone to fix it. It’s a rare motorcycle I can say, but whocares, as long as I’m still alive.. haha.. I’m lying on the street about 3-5 seconds, I tried to get up and I do notice earlier there are 2 or 3 police vehicle patrolling heading to here, I set the first priority to not getting myself into police’s trouble (I got no driving license at that moment), check my whole body part thoroughly whether it’s all intact, few scratches, and then go back home safely. Those polices asked me whether I’m alright or not, and I said to them it was ok!.. haha.. he just continued patrolling and didn’t check my license.. haha.. after that there are few portal guards that asked me to sit down, relax and make myself calm down.. I gazed my hands whispering to myself “what’ve I done…omg..” and I start to feel the pain on my right foot ankle, my right hand apparently bleeding and I covered it with my jacket… after about 3-4minutes I started to hate myself and ride myself home.

I came back home trying to cover everything and pretending as nothing happened today. I cleaned the wound as it’s covered with dust and little rocks; I used 跌打油精 to fasten the wound recovery process. It was very HURT and PAIN omg.. I wanted to yell but I can’t… duh!.. hell pain it is.. after I’m done with that, I drank a Chinese medicine asap.. (云南白药什么的).

That night was horrible.. I wasn’t able to sleep since I got a sprinkled ankle.. I already put an alcohol (arak gosok) to prevent something bad happen, I called my 师傅 asking for any advice, he said I must to compress it with a block of ice, and then put an alcohol. I tried to sleep around 2AM, and apparently in the morning my father did notice my unusual.. haha…. GG pa!

However, the accident occurs on August 2nd 2006, around 11PM.. I played some basketball earlier on afternoon together with Taiwan friends, I picked up Raymond so that we can go there together (Kelapa Gading.. far as hell..) haha.. well, I didn’t say anything to anyone about my accident, but Maureen apparently is the first person I informed about this (since I got an sms from her asking what I’m doing at that moment)… I told her to kept this secret.. haha.. well… hmm.. bad news spread so fast.. a lot of relatives and friends gave their concern to me, and I do appreciated it a lot. Hehe..

7th of August 2006 :: I just returned from the Buddhist temple to celebrate usual ce it cap go, so many people showed up and expressed their own faithful prayer.. lots of youngsters, uncles, and unties there too! such a coincidence, I met my mom’s friend who lives near kebayoran area.. they spontaneously asked me regarding my elbow, I replied kindly then.. and uh… I also borrowed a mandarin book from one of my nephews after that.. ;D
