Iron Law of Oligarchy..

“Private capital tends to become concentrated in few hands, partly because of competition among the capitalists, and partly because technological development and the increasing division of labor encourage the formation of larger units of production at the expense of the smaller ones. The result of these developments is an oligarchy of private capital the enormous power of which cannot be effectively checked even by a democratically organized political society.

This is true since the members of legislative bodies are selected by political parties, largely financed or otherwise influenced by private capitalists who, for all practical purposes, separate the electorate from the legislature. The consequence is that the representatives of the people do not in fact sufficiently protect the interests of the underprivileged sections of the population.
Moreover, under existing conditions, private capitalists inevitably control, directly or indirectly, the main sources of information (press, radio, education). It is thus extremely difficult, and indeed in most cases quite impossible, for the individual citizen to come to objective conclusions and to make intelligent use of his political rights.” – (Albert Einstein, 1949)

What i’ll need to do next after my return is to seek concurrence for the site name, and off I go getting the domain and host ready.. barely can’t wait to market these to SMEs or ppl alike and see what’s the response.. But bfore that i’ll need to work hard on the categorizing, trimming off thousands of image thumbnails and writing on how to “sell” these with my own humble words and intros..

Hopefully my vocab is sufficient and later on i’ll try to search for the wysiwyg plugin on the dscription.. But idk since it’s mostree, I have little faith that it’s even existed at all.. Btw I was thinking whethr my approach to categorize them is right in the first place.. And I think long term it’ll gonnna use virtuamart but for now, i’m quite skeptical on ppl really buyin and transact through webbie.. Most prolly i’ll get them to contact directly to my ph or email for now..

What they’ll receive after the transaction downpayment has been received (30% of total project cost):
Requirements form consisting lots of template screenshots for personalised content and logo submission.
Source code (.fla .swf .html) and image
Contact us form (.php)

I’ve already injected initial investment of 1k for my new project.. So I should spend sometime to kinda project what’s the return i’ll be expecting in a few months now.. Hmmm…

Init

There are basically 8 runlevels in unix. I will briefly tell some thing about the different init levels and their use.

Run Level: At any given time, the system is in one of eight possible run levels. A run level is a software configuration under which only a selected group of processes exists. Processes spawned by init for each of these run levels are defined in /etc/inittab. init can be in one of eight run levels, 0-6 and S or s (S and s are identical). The run level changes when a privileged user runs /sbin/init.

· init 0 : Shutdown (goes thru the /etc/rc0.d/* scripts then halts)
· init 1 : Single user mode or emergency mode means no network no multitasking is present in this mode only root has access in this runlevel
· init 2 : No network but multitasking support is present .
· init 3 : Network is present multitasking is present but with out GUI .
· init 4 : It is similar to runlevel 3; It is reserved for other purposes in research.
· init 5 : Network is present multitasking and GUI is present with sound etc.
· init 6 : This runlevel is defined to system restart.
· init s : Tells the init command to enter the maintenance mode. When the system enters maintenance mode from another run level, only the system console is used as the terminal.
· init S : Same as init s.
· init m : Same as init s and init S.
· init M : Same as init s or init S or init m.

We can take it from above that 4 options(S,s,M,m) are synonymous.

Kismet is an 802.11 layer2 wireless network detector, sniffer, and intrusion detection system. Kismet will work with any wireless card which supports raw monitoring (rfmon) mode, and (with appropriate hardware) can sniff 802.11b, 802.11a, 802.11g, and 802.11n traffic. Kismet also supports plugins which allow sniffing other media such as DECT.

Kismet identifies networks by passively collecting packets and detecting standard named networks, detecting (and given time, decloaking) hidden networks, and infering the presence of nonbeaconing networks via data traffic.

Anyone knows how to configure my Dropbox to connect using my companys wpad protocol? Dropbox doesnt seem to have an option to paste this config file.. have been tinkering these for days but still in vain.. Hmmm..

The Web Proxy Auto-Discovery Protocol ( WPAD ) is a method used by clients to locate a URL of a configuration file using DHCP and/or DNS discovery methods. Once detection and download of the configuration file is complete it can be executed to determine the proxy for a specified URL. The WPAD protocol only outlines the mechanism for discovering the location of this file, however the most commonly deployed configuration file format is the Proxy auto-config format originally designed by Netscape in 1996 for Netscape Navigator 2.0.[1] The WPAD protocol was drafted by a consortium of companies including Inktomi Corporation, Microsoft Corporation, RealNetworks, Inc., and Sun Microsystems, Inc.. WPAD is documented in an INTERNET-DRAFT which expired in December 1999.[2] However WPAD is still supported by all major browsers. WPAD was first included with Internet Explorer 5.0.

Line 312, Book 7 of Vergil’s Aeneid.

Variously translated as “If I cannot bend the Powers Above, I will move the Infernal Regions.” and “If I can not influence the gods, I shall move all hell“, or, more dramatically, “If I cannot move heaven, I will stir up the underworld.“.

As well as being a type of butterfly (Historis acheronta, or the Tailed Cecropian ) from the United States and Mexico, Acheronta is the accusative of Acheron – one of five rivers in the Greek underworld, mentioned first in Homer’s Odyssey, along with to the more famous river Styx.

This is the motto of Sigmund Freud‘s significant work The Interpretation Of Dreams. The controversial Freudian psychologist Bruno Bettelheimclaimed that it was a summary of Freud’s theory that those who have no control over the outside world turn inward to the underworld of their own minds.
